Why did Wayne Eng start the foundation?

Wayne founded the Dance Vision Foundation because he knows firsthand the transformative power of ballroom dancing. He began ballroom dancing as a way to escape, and it changed his life. Wayne is passionate about sharing this incredible experience with the world and educating people about the numerous benefits of dancing, all of which are backed by science.

Does Wayne Eng personally profit from the foundation’s work?

No. Wayne and Donna have generously donated $250,000 to kickstart the Dance Vision Foundation. Additionally, Wayne's sister, Rose Tom, has commited a substantial amount to the foundation from her estate.

How is the foundation governed?

The foundation is governed by a Board of Directors consisting of Wayne Eng, Donna Eng, Nancy Rapport, and Jackie Rogers.

How does the foundation hold itself accountable and ensure transparency about its work?

The foundation is supported by CPA Irene Wandtke, a shareholder at Gerety & Associates, CPA. Irene brings valuable expertise to the foundation, serving on the board of the Nevada Community Foundation.
