Wayne Eng and his wife Donna graced the competitive dance scene from 1981 to 1989, making their mark as
3-time United
States Professional Latin Finalists and United States Rising Star Vice-Champions, 3-time Blackpool Rising
Star
Finalists, Eastern United States Champions, and representatives in Hong Kong at the esteemed World Latin
Championships.
During this time, they owned and operated the dance studio Club2005, which ran successfully from 1982 to
1995.
Wayne’s passion for dance extended beyond the dance floor, leading him to become a visionary who has
significantly
impacted the dance world. In 1992, Wayne & Donna established Dance Vision, an esteemed leader in dance
education. Dance
Vision is widely acclaimed for its globally utilized syllabus, which are embraced by students, teachers, and
studios
alike. The Dance Vision brand also encompasses franchised dance studios (Dance Vision Studios), dance
competitions
(Dance Vision National Championships), a dancesport circuit (Dance Vision Circuit) and many more dance
related products
and services.
Wayne & Donna are also the Owner and Organizer of the Emerald Ball Dancesport Championships, the Founder of
the
California Gold Rush Circuit, and Competition Director and Wayne is Vice President & Competition Director
for the United
States Dance Championships since 2005.
In 2018, Wayne established the Dance Vision Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to broadening the
accessibility of ballroom dance to diverse audiences, with the aim of sharing the profound therapeutic
advantages of
dance for mental well-being.
